Hoity Toity beverages in small town Iowa . . .
A half hour south of the Minnesota/Iowa border is the happening little town of Clear Lake. We popped in for a beverage and a treat on an early summer Saturday, and Main Ave was like something out of a movie. The kind of place that I'd want to plan on getting a B&B for the night the next time we roadtrip down to Cedar Rapids
We each got beverages. Mine was an Iced Chai Tea that was Minnesota/Iowa spiced, as in it had a weak hand on the spices. Typical in The Tundra. Toasted coconut seems to be highlighted here, and the ladies enjoyed the Toasted Coconut Dream Blondie bar if I remember correctly
I guess I'd say this post is more a plug for Clear Lake than a post about Livonia's. A marker for me to remember to keep an overnight stay in mind down the road. But if hoity toity coffee is your jam, or sitting around enjoying hoity toity coffee is your jam, then you'd like Livonia's. It's built for hanging out
