Pizza worth a shot up in the north woods . . . 

On the way up to the YMCA Camp Northern Lights near Ely, we stopped in to pick up frozen pizzas for dinner.  On the first night of the week, the camp has something worked out with the Dominos in Ely for ordering pizza if you wish, but nah.  Gonna pass.  I try to avoid Dominos in town, why would we settle for that crap on vacation?

How was their frozen pizza?  Perfectly respectable.  They won’t put Heggie’s out of business anytime soon, but can certainly hold their own.  We picked up four.  A House Special, Hawaiian, Cheese, and a Gluten Free Cauliflower Crust Pepperoni & Sausage just to give it a try (no noticeable difference in the crust other than it crisped up a bit less than the regulars)

The guy up front taking our order was friendly.  Bonus points points to him.  The kiddo clawed a couple ducks at the Biwabik Bar next door, was eying up one in the joint’s planter, and he was kind enough to do a swapsie with her

They also have a full menu of apps, wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts that you can eat in a the bar they partner with next door.  Check'em out if your up that'a ways
