Guac N' Roll
Guac N' Roll, baby! Frankly, I just liked the name. Turns out there're a couple other locations in WI; no idea how they're affiliated
We popped in on a hot muggy day hoping for an Horchata to take to a park, even the premade bubbler dispenser kind, but no bueno. Had to settle for a bottle Pina Jarrito's

GREAT huge antique/thrift store, with terrible hours. Some weeks they're open Fri-Sun; some only Saturday. Hours vary between looks like 10-2 or noon-4 or maybe 10-4 or combo's around that. Check their Facebook for current hours. It's kinda amazing that a place this large has such limited operating hours, but if you can manage to get there, there's plenty of things you can't live with out. If you're out Osceola way, plan on finding their hours and making a long stop

Cascade Nutrition
After being foiled of plans for an Horchata, I figured we'd try this smoothie shop. Only, it is not really a smoothie shop. It is, but it's more like smoothie laboratory. The VERY friendly and helpful gentleman started to try to explain options, but . . . I just wanted a smoothie, not a crash course in quantum physics. Zoom into the menu wall picture . . . it's straight up ridiculous. Where's just a sign that says, "Smoothies for Dummies"?
Maybe to his disappointment, I asked for just a Chai Ice Tea. The kiddo got some caffeine-free tropical juice thing. They were both fine
Their website touts, "Sports nutrition coaching, nutrition counseling, and medical nutrition therapy tailored to you". If that's your deal, good on ya, go for it. We just wanted cold beverages without needing a PHD

The Looking Glass + Ice Cream Shop and Candies
A sprawling antique/thrift store. They claim to be "The Largest Retro Store in the St. Croix River Valley". It's definitely darker, dustier, dingier appearing than Treasure Alley across the street. BUT, they have an ice cream shop, and a cute little raised sitting area in the front window, decorated with retro furniture and old board games for "wallpaper". The kiddo was thrilled to set up camp with a cone and the books we just bought
