Steueben's Uptown - Denver, CO

Catering to a little something for everyone, and not reinventing the wheel here.  Ain't nuthin' wrong with that . . .

A few colleages and I were in Denver for a business trip, and I decided to stay an extra day.  Why fly out there and not roam around a bit?  For breakfast I walked a few blocks over to Steuben's from my somewhat sketchy Days Inn "Newly Renovated" hotel across from the Ogden Theater on Colfax.  It was pleasant enough, open space, friendly bartenders . . . a nice easy breazy late breakfast

How was the food?

With what little I had, I can't say ordering the Denver Skillet was the most adventurous breakfast, but I did order it with added sausage and bacon.  Though even then, there was a miscommunication and it was included IN the skillet instead of on the side.  And I failed to notice that I could have ordered a cup of Pork Green Chili Stew.  Oh well, it hit the spot

Frankly, if I'd done better recon, I'd have gone the extra mile (literally) and walked to Snooze.  I tromped around downtown anyways after.  But Steuben's did the trick as a nice little neighborhood joint, and I'd be happy to go back
