Headquarters Bar - Graceville, MN

Find yourself a fairly decent pizza in the middle of nowhere . . . 

Family we visit out in rural west central MN don't have options for delivery pizza, so on our way home from a day trip down to Ortonville, I had the idea to bring some back.  Slim pick'ins out that-a-ways, but we did hear tell of Headquarters Bar in Graceville, MN

When I called in the order, I asked for the pizzas to be half-baked.  The guy had no idea what I was talking about.  You know, par-baked.  Nope.  He couldn't seem to wrap his head around it.  "So how long would I bake them for?"  To his credit he was willing to try, but I finally just made life easy and said unbaked would be fine.  Maybe half/par is more of a city thing

Arrived at the address to find a building that appeared abandoned, only to be told that the new location was the next building down now.  The place is super sterile, and could use some windows, but seems to be a decent place to hang out if they'd turn the lights down some.  And they appear to be one of the only off-sale/liquor store options for twenty miles in any direction

How were the pizzas?  More than decent.  I'd happily eat these in the Cities.  I gotta say there was initial sticker shock when the bill for the two came to nearly $50.  Wow.  But they were packt with toppings; especially the Supreme.  These were heavy suckers  

Yeah, so if you live out there or find yourself out that way, I'd say Headquarters Bar is worth a stop
